United Furniture Industries Company History – Contemporary Upholstered and Microfiber Furniture
When your customers demand the latest microfiber, bonded leather, upholstery fabric sofa, turn to us!
In 2000, United Furniture Industries, (UFI) emerged from the merger and acquisitions of Comfort Furniture, Parkhill Furniture, and United Chair. Our mission was simple: we created a company with the vision and resources needed to become an industry leader in the emerging competitive marketplace. By December 2008, UFI received the exclusive licensing agreement as the U. S. manufacturer of Simmons Upholstery, a leading resource for microfiber and bonded leather upholstery fabric models.
Today, we’re over 1,700 employees and 2.7 million square feet of production space strong with locations in Okolona, Hatley and Amory Mississippi, Archdale, High Point and Lexington, North Carolina. Our focus is meeting the needs of retailer and consumers through style and value. Ultimately, we’ve created an affordable, extensive line of trendsetting furniture including microfiber, bonded leather and upholstery fabric furniture, sofa models, sectionals, chaise lounges, recliners, motion sofas and Hide-A-Bed sleepers.
Our goal is to provide exceptional value in our products with outstanding service. Thank you for your interest in United Furniture Industries / Simmons Upholstery products.
